Colloque: École et changement social dans l’espace ottoman et post-ottoman (XIXe-XXe siècle)

Le 17 mai 2013 aura lieu à l’ENS de Lyon un colloque international consacré à “Au delà de la nationalisation : école et changement social dans l’espace ottoman et post-ottoman (XIXe-XXe siècle)“, organisé par F. Abécassis (ENS Lyon / LARHRA), P. Bourmaud (Lyon III) et Chantal Verdeil (LARHRA), avec le concours de l’École française d’Athènes.

Présentation:

De 1850 aux années 1950, dans l’espace administré par l’empire ottoman puis dans les États qui lui ont succédé, l’enseignement se transforme radicalement. Les cours se tiennent désormais dans des salles de classe qui regroupent les élèves (garçons et filles) dans des divisions.
